What FeeFlex is
FeeFlex is a Shopify app that adds statutory deposit fees (Dutch statiegeld, German Pfand) to the products that carry them, online and at the point of sale. It is built and operated by the developer behind OrderPiqr. Contact: info@orderpiqr.nl.
What we store
For each shop that installs FeeFlex we store shop-level configuration only: the shop's .myshopify.com domain, the app settings the merchant chooses, deposit rules, classification sources, the computed deposit per product (product IDs and amounts), references to the hidden fee products FeeFlex creates, a queue of incoming Shopify webhooks while they are being processed, an audit log of the app's own actions, and the OAuth session Shopify issues to the app.
What we do not store
FeeFlex stores no data about your customers. It does not request access to orders, customers, names, addresses or payment details — its Shopify permissions cover products, publications and the two checkout functions, nothing else. The deposit calculation reads product data only.
Retention and deletion
Processed webhook payloads are deleted automatically by a scheduled cleanup. Everything else is kept while the app is installed. When a shop uninstalls FeeFlex, Shopify sends the mandated shop/redact request about 48 hours later and FeeFlex then hard-deletes all data for that shop. Customer data-request and customer-redact webhooks are acknowledged as required; since no customer data is stored, there is nothing to return or erase.
Where data lives
FeeFlex runs on Fly.io in Amsterdam (EU region). All traffic between your browser, Shopify and FeeFlex is encrypted in transit (TLS). Data is not sold or shared with third parties; the only subprocessors are Fly.io (hosting) and Shopify itself.
Changes and contact
If FeeFlex ever starts storing new categories of data, this policy is updated in the same release and the "last updated" date changes. Questions or requests: info@orderpiqr.nl.
